Humph. Why can't you people go first? Oh, fine.
As a trailer, it looks pretty cool. And like Keri, I'm probably biased, having had the privilege to know and love Christy.
I think I'm skeptical, because 1) the trailer focuses on this old white guy with a bleeding heart for these people who needed help telling his story. Where have I heard that before? and 2) Who's talking throughout? Definitely not the deaf people with brown skin.
I just saw a comedy routine the other night by -- I think?! -- Christian Finnegan and he was talking about how we don't need another white-person-saves-ghetto-school movie. We all know how that story goes already. Well... I kinda have that feeling about this movie too.
BUT, BUT, BUT!!! I'm still reserving judgment. I'd love to see the whole thing, and Goddess knows a place where deafies can be deafies is far from a bad thing.
