It's snowing.
I don't understand.
Why is it snowing?
This is so wrong.
It shouldn't be snowing.
I've been staring out my window for the last five minutes trying to translate.
Is that really snow?
Could it be sawdust from someone's errant construction project? Really slow-falling rain? Did someone have a giant pillow fight?
I really don't get it.
Is that snow?
If so... shit.
But it can't be.
the pond here is already half frozen over...And it has snowed like, 3 times.

LOL. We had completely different reactions to snow, apparently.
A few days ago, I saw a few tiny snowflakes, got all excited and squealed, then it stopped and I went "aw!"
Then I woke up this morning, saw your blog and a few comments on Facebook, got excited again, jumped out of bed, looked outside and saw ... nothing.
Sorry, but my idea of snow is an absolute minimum of 3 inches coating the ground (I'm going easy on you guys, I know DC can't produce 6-12 inches even if you gave it a whole winter to do so). And thus far, I have been disappointed. Steamboat's gotten like 2 feet so far.
But I'll grant you this ... The DC cold gives me headaches like I never got in Colorado, even when it was 30 below. *puzzled*

DC has something called "humidity", which we Westerners don't experience, at least not as much as east of the Mississippi. That could account for the headaches...?

I didn't even see any flurries today. :(

@ Sandman -- true. It's the humidity in the air that gives ppl headaches, and makes it feel colder than it really is.

It's snowed at least twice so far and I missed it both times although I thought of you whenever someone reported a snowflake sighting.
The only evidence I have (had?) was the 1/2 inch that stuck to my car. How I missed it even though I was home all day surrounded by windows...baffling.
