Just curious, but amidst all the hoopla surrounding the end of the writers' strike, the advent of freshly-written television entertainment all for our unmitigated consumption, and a diversion from the presidential election, does anyone else sense a yearning for a time and day where we're actually required to use our own brains to tickle our own fancies?
Or, at the very least, a slight twinge of fear and resentment at the onslaught of anticipation as the American mainstream waits for their TV sets to spit out unrecycled (but still unoriginal) TV?
Or a sense of wonderment as to what we'd do if we didn't have TV in the first place?
Or is that just me? 'Cause y'know, I'm just ...wondering. And I've still got a couple hours to kill before Ghost Hunters International comes on.
Hey, I wanna know what happens after the tornado cliffhanger at the end of the last "live" Desperate Housewives episode! And my boyfriend's panting at the idea of seeing new episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Brothers and Sisters ...

Nope, because I don't even watch that much TV! I haven't been affected in any way except for Desperate Housewives, which I've gotten over! :-D

I can't even remember the last time I watched tv. O, the super bowl. Which didn't need writers. I didn't even know there was a writers strike till like, a month after it started when Nate was complaining the late night shows weren't as good. I'm a child of the (last) millenium!
